Mommy: How was your first day?

Ellie: I was overdressed! I'm wearing jeans tomorrow.

Mommy: No you're not.

Ellie: Well I'm wearing sneakers.

Mommy: No you're not. You are dressing for work like they requested in the paperwork.

Ellie: Mommy nobody pays attention to that.

Mommy: You do.

Ellie: You are always "ODing" over everything!

Mommy: Bring your voice down, match my tone and whats OD about wearing the work clothes they requested?

Ellie: Well I'm not wearing a tie.

Mommy : OK no tie. You can wear one of your short sleeve polo shirts

Ellie: Whatever Mommy. It's whatever.

Big Brother: I hate when Mommy does that she always has to follow the rules.

Ellie:Yeah! She be getting me tight with that!

Mommy looks at them in disbelief as she pays for their lunch. First: what kind of illiterate sentence did Eliot just say? Second: What ridiculous statement did the Big Brother aka "Rebel without a cause" just endorse? Third: It is interesting that following the rules makes them mad.

Then she remembers she could care less what they think because she use to be just as stupid and arrogant as they are acting now. AND she's the boss because she's paying and she's Mommy.

She pays for lunch and walks with a son on each arm in the parking lot back to the car. She resists the urge to tell them how irritating they can really be and how she would.like to hit both of their heads together like in the Three Stooges.

Mommy: I love my boys.

Big brother: Love.you too Mommy

Ellie: (Mumbles) Love you too....
